Simple Apps USA

Terms of Service

Last updated October 14, 2026

1. Who we are

Simple Apps USA is the trading name of Thomas J. Molinaro, a sole proprietor in Florida, United States (“we”, “us”). These terms apply when you use our website, our apps (including Human First Writer, “the Writer”) and your Simple Apps USA account at accounts.simpleappsusa.com (together, “the service”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Your account

  • You sign in with Google, Microsoft, Apple or a one-time code sent to your email address. One account covers all of our apps.
  • You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account or buy a plan.
  • Keep access to your sign-in method secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • One free trial per person. Creating extra accounts to get more trials is not allowed.

3. Free trial

New Writer accounts get a 14-day free trial, with no card required. AI tools are included throughout the trial, up to a limited allowance and a daily number of requests. When the trial ends without a plan, your writing becomes read-only: you can still open and export it, but not change it (see section 8).

4. Paid plans and billing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you buy, you buy from Paddle, under Paddle’s buyer terms, and Paddle collects any sales tax or VAT that applies. We never see or store your card details.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly, in advance, and renew automatically until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account’s billing page. You keep everything your plan includes until the end of the period you have paid for; it does not renew after that.
  • If we change a plan’s price, we will email you at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price, so you can cancel first if you wish.
  • If a renewal payment fails, AI tools pause while Paddle retries; your writing stays available.
  • Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

5. AI allowance, top-ups and your own key

  • The AI plan includes a monthly AI allowance. Your account shows how much of it is used. Unused allowance does not carry over to the next month.
  • A top-up adds more allowance for the current AI plan and expires 60 days after purchase. Allowance and top-ups are not money: they cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred or refunded.
  • On the own-key plan, AI requests use an API key from an AI provider that you supply. The provider bills you for that use under your agreement with them; we are not responsible for those charges.
  • To keep the service working for everyone, we apply fair-use limits (for example on requests per day and at once) and may pause AI tools for everyone briefly if a provider has problems.

6. Your writing

You own what you write in the service, and you keep ownership of anything an AI tool suggests that you accept into your writing. You give us permission to store, process and display your writing only as needed to run the service for you, including sending the text you choose to our AI provider when you press an AI tool. We do not use your writing to train AI models, and we do not sell it. Our AI-use statement and Privacy Policy explain the details.

AI suggestions can be wrong, incomplete or unoriginal. You decide what to accept, and you are the author and responsible for what you publish or submit.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service for anything unlawful, or to write content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringes someone else’s rights;
  • offer ghostwriting, essay-writing or paper-writing services through it, or use it in breach of the academic-integrity or authorship rules that apply to you;
  • use it to impersonate a real person or to deceive people about who wrote something;
  • try to get around plan limits, trials or allowances, share an account, or resell access;
  • copy, reverse engineer or disrupt the service, or access it by automated means other than the apps we provide.

8. When a plan ends, and deleting your account

  • When a trial or plan ends, your writing becomes read-only: you can read and export everything, and subscribing again restores full access.
  • If no plan is active for 12 months, we delete the writing held in that app. We email you three warnings first: 30, 14 and 3 days before.
  • You can delete your account at any time from your account page. That cancels any subscription, ends your sign-in, and deletes your writing from our apps within a day.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or after a payment is disputed (a chargeback). If we close an account without a serious breach, we will give you the chance to export your writing first.

9. Changes to the service and these terms

We improve the service over time and may change or remove features. If we make a material change to these terms, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

10. No warranty

We work hard to keep the service available and your writing safe, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Please keep your own exports of anything important.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and of the United States. Disputes will be heard by the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them in your local courts.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms: support@simpleappsusa.com. Questions about a payment, a receipt or a refund can also go to Paddle, through the link in your receipt email or at paddle.net.
