Refund Policy

Last updated October 14, 2026

Payments for our plans are processed by Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles refunds, under this policy and Paddle’s refund policy.

Try before you pay

Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial, with AI tools included and no card required, so you can decide whether the Writer suits you before paying anything.

Cancel any time

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your billing page. Nothing else is charged after that, and you keep everything your plan includes until the end of the month or year you have already paid for. Your writing then becomes read-only, not deleted: you can still read and export it, and subscribing again restores full access.

Refunds

  • Subscription payments, including renewals, are not refunded for the time left in a period after you cancel.
  • AI top-ups are not refundable once bought.
  • Billing mistakes are always put right: if you were charged twice, charged after you cancelled, or charged the wrong amount, we will refund the mistaken charge.
  • Where the law where you live gives you a right to cancel and be refunded (for example, the 14-day right of withdrawal for consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom), that right applies in full and this policy does not reduce it.

What a refund changes

A full refund of your current period ends the plan straight away: the subscription is cancelled, any AI allowance left for the period is removed, and your writing becomes read-only. A partial refund does not change your plan.

How to ask

Email support@simpleappsusa.com from the address on your account, or contact Paddle through the link in your receipt email or at paddle.net. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank: a disputed charge suspends the account while it is resolved.
